The wisdom of the old and the young according to the Yoruba.

Ifa says that both the young and the old have wisdom and each brings their share to work for the good of all.

What the old in Colonial enterprise Nigeria have done is to corrupt the Yoruba culture to say that only they have wisdom

Men in their 80s, 70s, and 60s will say you must turn 60 or 70 before you can lead 🙄

These selfish old men will say haven't they being there before you🙄

That you must stay behind them 🙄

These so called elders will now run to countries where nobody cares about your age,  countries run by people less than 60, countries where all they care about is your competency.

These selfish, visionless old men are part of the reason the Yoruba people are in the state  we are in today, so having created the mess, why should anyone listen to anything they have to say?

Let the Yoruba return to her roots and respect the wisdom of the young too.
