Eku ewa (Ewa is beauty in Yoruba. Greetings when your are beautifying yourself)

Ire- a blessing. A congratulation greetings.

Can be used when someone renders support, mostly in the context of events or party.
Eku Odun ( Odun means year ; age ; round of time in which an annual festival occurs)
The Yoruba language is beautiful and sweet. some people want to relegate greetings to just As-salaam 'alykum (peace be upon you”) just because of their religious affiliation.
They will even bend their kneel slightly. (shey na Islamic greetings be that or greetings of the people from the Sahel.
99.9% of Yoruba greetings won't make sense in Arabic language but to us Yoruba, it makes perfect sense .it's the language of our Alale.
Mind You, all Arabs say As-salaam 'alykum
but some people believe, it's there religion greetings.
